About the Role:


Become a part of the Laser Sources and Lidar Systems (SLS) team, focusing on the design and development of laser systems tailored for diverse civil and military applications.

Your responsibilities will include optimizing laser performance and extending operational range, with a strong focus on increasing power output and integrating laser beams.

Key duties involve completing the intricate design of a specific laser framework, sourcing essential components, evaluating optical elements, aligning the system, characterizing performance indicators, analyzing outcomes, presenting results to stakeholders, and potentially contributing to scientific publications.

Collaboration with specialists from various disciplines is crucial, necessitating a robust experimental foundation in wave physics, laser alignment techniques, and interferometric methods.

Required Skills:

  • Doctorate, engineering qualification, or Master's degree with a focus on lasers
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with laser technologies
  • Expertise in electro-optical components and scientific programming (Matlab, C/C++, Python)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
