Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Specialist to join our team at Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, France. As a key member of our Customs department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth flow of goods and services.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing import and export activities, supporting customs brokers and internal departments, and collaborating with customs authorities to resolve any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for drafting customs quality documentation and participating in operational meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a transnational team environment. You will be confident in reading and understanding complex documentation, and able to create legal documents as required.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Customs Specialist to join our team. You will possess:

  • Several years of customs knowledge and extensive experience in customs.
  • An excellent network in the customs area.
  • Experience in customs systems, such as GTS from SAP.
  • Knowledge of logistic, transport, and export control.
  • Ideal experience in the aviation industry.

You will be confident in reading and understanding complex documentation, and able to create legal documents as required. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a transnational team environment.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
