Job Description

As a Senior Power Systems Consultant at Artelys, you will be part of a team of high-level consultants who leverage their power systems skills and interest in energy and sustainable development to deliver exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power grid operation and planning tools for internal use and customer projects.
  • Perform quantitative analyses using our software and electrical and energy system modeling.
  • Present and refine results in collaboration with customers, supporting their decision-making process.
  • Actively participate in acquiring new clients, identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and defining our value proposition.
Requirements
  • A degree from an engineering school, a master, or a Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in power systems studies.
  • Familiarity with Python programming language.
  • Excellent writing skills, fluency in French, and a minimum level of C1 in English.
  • Experience in power systems studies, preferably with a power system operator.
  • Interest in mathematical and quantitative approaches, with a strong foundation in fundamental mathematical techniques.
  • Rigorous and intelligent analysis skills, with a focus on decision-making.
  • Strong team spirit and customer-centric approach.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent contract with managerial status and a 4-month probationary period.
  • Up to 2 days of remote work per week possible.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Offices located in the city center of each city where we are located.
Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of three steps: an initial technical interview, a second interview, and a visit to our premises for an in-person offer and introduction to the work environment.
