Join Our Team as a Power Systems Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Consultant to join our team at Artelys. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing power systems operation and planning tools, both for internal use and for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop power systems operation and planning tools
  • Perform quantitative analyses using our software and based on the modeling of electrical and energy systems
  • Present and refine results in interaction with our customers

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree from an engineering school, a master or a Ph.D. in power systems or applied mathematics
  • Have one experience in power systems, preferably at a Transmission System Operator (TSO) or a power exchange
  • Be comfortable with mathematical and quantitative approaches, and have a strong understanding of fundamental mathematical techniques
  • Be familiar with Python and have good writing skills
  • Be fluent in both spoken and written French, and have a minimum level of B2 in English

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent contract, managerial status with a 4-month probationary period
  • Up to 2 days of remote work per week possible
  • Flexible working hours
  • Offices located in the city center of each city where we are located

Recruitment Process:

  • An initial technical interview via video conference with two recruiters (45 minutes x 2)
  • A second interview via video conference with two other recruiters, as well as a brief 15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys (45 minutes x 2 + 15 minutes)
  • If your interviews are successful, we will invite you to visit our premises to make you an offer in person and introduce you to the work environment
