Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Underwriting Specialist to join our team, focusing on business insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting property and liability insurance policies in accordance with established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and underwrite non-automobile property and liability insurance contracts based on underwriting standards.
- Review and analyze requests for insurance coverage, preparing tailored offers.
- Coordinate co-insurance arrangements with reinsurers to ensure effective risk management.
- Manage routine policy administration tasks efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing risk assessment and monitoring activities.
- Provide expert guidance to account managers on complex underwriting cases.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of BAC+2/3 education in insurance or relevant experience in business risk underwriting. A strong understanding of insurance methodologies is essential.
We value individuals who are organized, proactive, and able to work collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills are also a must.
