Position Overview
Ubisoft, a global leader in the gaming industry, is currently seeking a Financial Analyst specializing in Overhead Costs. You will become a vital member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, focusing on the budgeting and forecasting of overhead expenses for the Global Publishing divisions.
This role will report directly to the Senior FP&A Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational expenditures of your department, including workforce budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate closely with management teams and the HR department regarding cost structures, staffing levels, personnel expenses, and operational assumptions.
- Deliver comprehensive financial analysis of actual expenditures, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize costs and influence strategic decision-making. Prepare and distribute monthly reports, monitor actual results, and clarify variances.
- Manage the tracking process for new hires and departures.
- Handle intercompany recharges for overhead costs, both for actuals and forecasts.
- Support closing assumptions and monitor regional expenditures against targets.
- Work in close partnership with central and regional finance teams to align financial and accounting processes across various territories.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant initial experience in corporate FP&A.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably with Hyperion Essbase and Oracle planning tools.
- A willingness to learn and become self-sufficient in daily tasks.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing business environment.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
