Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our IT Administration & Support service. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring SOC alerts, defining new detection cases, and managing IT security projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Response and Threat Management
  • Monitor and analyze SOC alerts to identify potential security threats
  • Develop and implement effective incident response plans to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless incident response
• Security Strategy and Compliance
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect Spuerkeess' assets
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement security best practices
• IT Security Projects and Collaboration
  • Manage IT security projects from initiation to completion
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical expertise to support IT security initiatives

Requirements

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Professional experience in cybersecurity is advantageous
• Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish is a plus
  • Advanced skills in information security, computer systems structures, and project management
  • Good knowledge of cyber incident response, MITRE ATT&CK framework tactics and techniques, and regulations in IT security
