The Role

Under the guidance of the Entertainment/Wellness Manager and/or the General Manager, your primary responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and team members by monitoring the designated areas, thereby enhancing organizational efficiency in a collaborative environment. You will oversee the safety and wellness of the property, guests, and team members through vigilant observation and assist management in enforcing operational standards as well as the Accor "Standards for Wellness and Entertainment".

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

Planning & Organizing:

The Wellness Spa Supervisor must be well-versed in all Accor corporate and local operational standards to ensure compliance and achieve the outlined responsibilities and objectives:

Keep the General Manager/EAM updated on all wellness-related matters. Collaborate with management and team members to address wellness issues and loss prevention. Coordinate with local law enforcement and safety officials as necessary. Adhere to the hotel's grooming and appearance standards. Foster cooperation and respect within the team and across departments. Stay informed about the hotel's daily activities and possess extensive knowledge of all services and facilities.

Operations:

Deliver various types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.

Maintain accurate records of treatments and therapies provided to each spa guest.

Communicate with guests during treatments to modify techniques as needed.

Address guest complaints and report any incidents to the supervisor.

Clean and sanitize work areas, change treatment room linens, and sterilize all tools and equipment before each use.

Explain treatments and therapies to guests and provide appropriate recommendations.

Ensure the spa is adequately stocked with supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.

Inquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies prior to providing services.

Administration:

Provide a range of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable environment. Maintain equipment and inventory of products. Keep documentation and maintain client files. Ensure a clean and well-stocked treatment room. Respond to customer inquiries, needs, and expectations. Suggest and promote retail products or additional services. Uphold hygiene standards and comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with administration on any arising issues. Implement best practices and stay updated with market trends. Qualifications
Previous experience in the spa industry is required. A degree in a related field is preferred. Certification in a spa discipline such as fitness or therapy is advantageous. Additional Information

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential.
