Electronics Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Electronics Buyer to join our team at Alcatel Submarine Networks. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality electronic components and materials for our submarine networks.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with our quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications and standards for electronic components and materials.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Engineering diploma or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in SAP module MM.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
