Alcatel Submarine Networks is seeking a skilled procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate procurement requests and negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Enter associated prices into SAP and establish contracts to optimize procurement costs and secure supply.
- Explore new suppliers to address the evolution of ASN products and monitor the qualification and introduction of new suppliers.
- Manage supplier data and support production by managing supplier quality returns and production anomalies.
- Organize and conduct supplier business reviews and manage supplier risk through diversification or rationalization.
- Essential experience as a buyer/negotiator (minimum 4/5 years).
- Experience in an industrial environment such as aerospace, space, or military.
- English fluency and proficiency in SAP module MM.
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office suite) and particularly Excel.
