Job Summary
Plantik Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated bioinformatician apprentice to join our Paris-based team. As a bioinformatics apprentice, you will work alongside our CTO and Cloud Engineer to develop and deploy novel bioinformatics solutions on our Cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for NGS-based metabolic and biologic trait discovery
- Provide assistance to a variety of routine bioinformatics tasks, including gene identification, gene model refinement, expression analysis, and automation
- Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and bioinformatics software through literature and professional meetings
Requirements
- M1 student in bioinformatics/Genomics
- Knowledge and experience in bioinformatics analysis, NGS data, and transcriptomics
- Basic competency in Python, SQL, genome browsers, Galaxy, UNIX, and R
- Fluency in English
