Fedcap Group is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve their employment-focused goals and improve their economic stability.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish trust and rapport with program participants to understand their needs, strengths, interests, and capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive intakes to develop a service plan that outlines short-term and long-term employment goals.
- Meet regularly with participants to document progress, provide ongoing orientation, and ensure they understand their TANF and program requirements.
- Build effective partnerships with external providers to ensure participants have access to needed services and supports.
- Maintain exceptional record keeping and document all communication and contact with participants and external partners.
- Request needed supports services, such as childcare, transportation, and educational services, to assist participants in achieving their goals.
- Uphold all agency policies and expectations in performing job duties.
- Run reports and use data to plan daily and weekly tasks.
- Secure releases and build effective communication with participants' medical, behavioral health, and other providers.
- Represent Fedcap Group with all stakeholders and in the community in a positive and professional manner.
- Bachelor's degree or higher education preferred; and/or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service.
