Objective
To design, validate, and sustain manufacturing processes and metrics that ensure product functionality and quality, alongside optimizing the industrial performance of related operations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with product specifications throughout all phases of production.
Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Detection Classification (FDC) measures for the processes under your oversight.
Manage the processing of non-compliant batches and diagnose issues within the processes.
Conduct analysis on performance detractors and quality issues related to the processes you oversee.
Develop and implement improvement strategies while maintaining or enhancing production and measurement recipes, ensuring adherence to industrial parameters (such as process and measurement speeds, engineering time, setup time, and characterization time).
Standardize characterization methods (types of measurement and sampling) across the processes you manage.
Maintain current production documentation relevant to the processes under your responsibility.
Contribute to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D problem-solving, and Material Review Board (MRB) activities related to your sector.
Actively engage in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Provide training on the processes you oversee, particularly for technicians, new hires, and production staff.
Assist in the development and execution of the technical strategy for your area.
Facilitate the transfer of processes to and from other X-FAB locations.
Candidate Profile
Education:
Engineering degree, Master's, or Doctorate.
Languages: Fluent in English and French.
Experience: Proven background in semiconductor processes with knowledge of material characterization.
Familiarity with SPC, FDC/APC, and Design of Experiments (DOE) is essential. You are detail-oriented and self-sufficient, with a strong inclination towards hands-on work in dynamic settings.
Your communication skills and adaptability will enable you to integrate seamlessly into our teams.
Working in an international context, you will interact with colleagues and suppliers globally. You are passionate and eager to tackle team challenges, contributing to the advancement of future automotive technologies.
As an engineer, you possess a keen interest in applied sciences and technologies, including electromechanics, robotics, control systems, vacuum technology, and chemistry.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in FMEA, 6S, Ishikawa diagrams, and the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) data.
Self-motivated and dynamic, you are recognized for your creativity, analytical thinking, and collaborative spirit within a team.
You have a strong affinity for complex technical equipment and a keen interest in analytical methodologies. Fluency in English is a must.
