About the Role

We are seeking a talented software development engineer to join our Amazon Security team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and architecting new systems to developing and deploying innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure software solutions for AWS Security Operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and Amazon's coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
  • Work closely with security engineers to ensure that software solutions meet security requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive experience in professional software development, with a focus on designing and architecting new systems
  • Experience with Linux OS and at least one software programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript)
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience developing using SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience in Cloud Technologies
