About the Role

At Amazon Technological Services SAS, we're committed to creating a secure and trustworthy environment for our customers. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, AWS Security SecDevOps, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of internal security tooling within Amazon Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative technologies at massive scale to help keep AWS and our customers secure.
  • Leverage modern technologies and AWS services to empower AWS security response engineers to be more productive.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience in developing for Linux OS (or developing on macOS, Mac commandline experience).
  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language (Java, Python, or TypeScript).
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience developing using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in Cloud Technologies.
