emagine Consulting is seeking a skilled RPG Developer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our client's invoicing system.
As an integral part of this project, you will leverage your expertise in AS/400 and RPG programming languages to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot the existing invoicing platform. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from implementing system improvements to collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance.
Beyond your core RPG development skills, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our client's web portal using HTML, CSS, and CA Plex. This role offers a chance to expand your skillset and make a tangible impact on the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:- AS/400 and RPG Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of AS/400 and RPG programming languages to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot our client's invoicing system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and ensure optimal performance.
- Web Development for Client Portal: Contribute to the development of our client's web portal using HTML, CSS, and CA Plex. Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Take ownership of the monitoring system for batch jobs and general system health. Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- 10+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated proficiency with AS/400 and RPG programming languages, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in software development and system maintenance.
- On-Call Support: Be available for on-call duties as needed to address urgent issues and provide technical support outside of regular business hours. Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet the needs of the organization.
