We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Business Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Contract Management: Managing contracts, including client contracts, supplier contracts, real estate agreements, and leases, to ensure seamless business operations.
- Commercial Negotiations: Collaborating with our operational and commercial teams to negotiate and secure major commercial agreements, client or supplier contracts, amendments, letters of intent, and other business documents.
- Legal Support: Providing legal support to our group subsidiaries, ensuring they operate in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Legal Guidelines: Developing and monitoring legal guidelines applicable to the entire group, as well as updating standard contracts to reflect changing business needs.
- Dispute Resolution: Monitoring disputes directly or in cooperation with partner law firms, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Legal Research: Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and reporting on internal performance indicators related to legal security, ensuring our business operations remain secure and compliant.
- Contract Tracking: Tracking and processing contract deadlines to ensure timely execution and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- International Law Expertise: A Master's degree in International Law and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Spanish or Italian being a plus.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business operations and a keen eye for detail.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to FM Logistic sites in Europe may be required.
