Role Overview:
In light of our significant growth, we are seeking a Senior Non-Life Actuarial Consultant Manager. By joining our Actuarial Consulting Business Unit, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the initiation of non-life activities and oversee all related projects, including:
- Influential initiatives
- Research and development efforts
- Team training programs
- Recruitment strategies
- Organizational management of the team
- Organize team-building events to foster collaboration.
- Contribute to the design and innovation of new insurance products tailored to client needs.
- Model and project financial performance of products, including business plans, premium forecasts, and claims analysis.
- Prepare detailed pricing campaigns for new products, encompassing objectives, pricing strategies, profitability analyses, and feasibility studies.
- Define underwriting strategies, risk measurement and transfer, business planning, and support during mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, including recovery plans and IFRS 17.
- Model natural catastrophe risks and climate-related impacts on insurance products.
- Assess extreme events using specific models to simulate financial impacts.
- Integrate natural disaster risks into pricing and provisioning processes to ensure adequate coverage and company solvency.
- Value portfolios under various environments (EEV, MCEV, S2, IFRS17).
- Calculate technical provisions and conduct inventory assessments.
- Develop models for new products/risks, provisioning, pricing, risk transfer, and compliance with S2 and IFRS 17.
- Support management in regulatory closing processes.
- Performance Management and Analysis:
- Analyze results, manage capital, and strategically allocate assets.
- Participate in ORSA and evaluate the impact on solvency and technical provisions under adverse scenarios.
- Optimize actuarial processes and develop analytical tools using PYTHON, R, and SAS.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an actuarial school or a prestigious engineering institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in actuarial roles related to risk management within a consulting firm or insurance company.
- Proficient in key actuarial tools for non-life insurance pricing and provisioning.
- Experience with actuarial modeling tools such as Prophet, Sunrise, MoSES, Matlab, Python, R, or VBA.
