Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and process claims in accordance with established guidelines, under the supervision of the Claims Executive.
- Maintain relationships with external parties, including clients, brokers, lawyers, and other adjusters involved in claims.
- Provide guidance to the Claims Executive on organizational matters within the team.
- Act as an internal point of contact for Claims Handler queries and claims-related issues.
- In the absence of the Claims Executive, authorize outgoing correspondence related to claims, following established guidelines.
- Participate in an evening/weekend shift and cover for absent colleagues.
Requirements:
- Higher education in maritime law and/or practical experience in navigation/operational transport, complemented by a background in English maritime law.
- Demonstrable significant experience in claims management in the marine insurance field.
