Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses and evaluations of claims in accordance with established guidelines, under the supervision of the Claims Executive.
- Maintain effective relationships with external parties, including clients, brokers, lawyers, and other adjusters involved in claims.
- Provide expert advice to the Claims Executive on organizational matters within the team.
- Act as a primary point of contact for Claims Handler inquiries and claims-related issues.
- In the absence of the Claims Executive, independently authorize all outgoing correspondence related to claims, adhering to established guidelines.
- Share evening and weekend shifts, as well as replace absent colleagues.
Requirements:
- Higher education in maritime law and/or practical experience in navigation/operational transport, complemented by a background in English maritime law.
- Demonstrable significant experience in claims management in the field of marine insurance.
