Job Title: Financial Markets Trading Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Upskills is seeking a highly motivated Front Office Trading Support Consultant with good knowledge and experience with Fixed Income to join our dynamic Trading Team. As a Junior Trading Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Front Office trading systems used by our cash equity trading desk. Additionally, you are not limited to:
  • Analyzing business processes and functional requirements, performing gap analysis between existing and required solution to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Collaborating with technology teams to design and implement enhancements to the trading systems.
  • Working with the users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and move the system toward go-live.
  • Providing day-to-day support to Front Office traders, addressing their queries and issues related to the trading systems.


Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of Murex Front Office experience.
  • Solid knowledge with Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives.
  • Familiar with SQL scripting (perl, awk).
  • Familiar with financial instruments representation and their lifecycle management.
  • Familiar with dynamic table and simulation view.
  • Possess experience gathering and analyzing requirements from users.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to handle multiple projects, priorities and manage business expectations.
  • Must be customer driven, have the ability to work within a team environment, and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
  • Strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
