Job Title: Vendor Finance Manager

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor Finance Manager to oversee the establishment and implementation of retail finance programs to support retail sales and stock financing programs to support wholesale sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate, draft, and communicate periodic retail finance programs to dealers (typically quarterly).
  • Negotiate special retail deals with lenders and dealers and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Visit dealers, with or without local lender representatives, to ensure understanding and proper use of retail finance campaigns and conduct business reviews.
  • Conduct training sessions on finance products for dealer sales teams, often with lender representatives.
  • Provide training on retail finance products to internal staff.
  • Coordinate with lenders and the internal Key Account team to provide financing quotes as needed (e.g., tenders, one-to-one deals).
  • Manage the portfolio by gathering and sharing data with dealers and internal sales teams (including regional sales managers) to optimize deal renewals.
  • Approve retail finance subsidies daily and continuously improve and optimize processes.
  • Develop new finance products like rental fleet financing, demo financing, programs with seasonal components, and operating lease solutions.
  • Attend regional and international fairs (Bauma, Intermat, Samoter, etc.).
  • Draft periodic statistics on penetration rates.
  • Annually follow up on the reimbursement of unused subsidies.
Wholesale Financing
  • Train dealer principals on stock financing products.
  • Train internal staff on stock finance products.
  • Support the Credit Team in obtaining financials from dealers.
  • Assist the Credit Team in managing credit line reviews by lenders offering both retail and stock financing programs.
General
  • Identify, discuss, and negotiate with potential new finance partners.
  • Negotiate and validate new cooperation agreements with support from the Legal Team.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Team to renew or extend existing cooperation agreements.
  • Conduct yearly steering committees in each country with each lender to review business performance, discuss program efficiency, support levels, and address challenges and opportunities.
  • Hold semi-annual steering committees with major partners for European business reviews, new projects, challenges, and condition reviews.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Economics.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and internal tools such as PowerBi and SAP.
  • Knowledge of financial products and fluency in English and French/Italian preferred.
  • Team spirit, flexibility, creativity, open-mindedness, and initiative.
