Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Multi-Physical Systems Engineer/Cable Arrangement (M/F), you will collaborate with a dynamic hardware engineering team to address technical challenges in board-level engineering.
You will be stationed at a leading research facility, where your role will involve developing next-generation hardware solutions, focusing on multi-physics modeling and simulation of complex module reliability, cable management simulation technologies, and in-situ nondestructive testing methodologies.
Main Duties
- Investigate cable management simulation technologies based on ICT product sub-racks, assess cable management (considering mechanical and bending stress) in intricate product scenarios, and progressively extend to high-speed signal, stress, and reliability criteria.
- Engage in technical development of cable simulation tools.
- Deliver technical insights within the cable management domain and foster new technological advancements.
- Work in collaboration with local and international teams to tackle challenges and assist in the preparation of specifications and design documentation.
You will initiate projects with external collaborators and contribute to industry conferences.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or higher, or a PhD, with a solid foundation in mechanics, flexible system integration, and multibody interactions including friction and adhesion. You possess multi-scale and multi-physical field simulation modeling skills encompassing electrical, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical aspects, along with their effects on high-speed signal integrity.
Additionally, you have a general understanding of cable simulation modeling tools (such as IPS) and industrial multi-physical simulation tools (such as Comsol), including the comprehension and application of governing equations. A strong grasp of material properties and their influence on simulation processes is essential.
The ability to work both collaboratively and independently is crucial, as is the capacity to thrive in a diverse team environment.
You are enthusiastic about technology, driven by curiosity, and eager to make significant contributions in your field of expertise. Proficiency in English, along with excellent intercultural communication skills, is required, and you excel in working within international teams.
