Laboratory Technician - Molecular Biology

Become a vital member of our team in the OGM, Allergens, and Animal Speciation division within the molecular biology laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct DNA extraction procedures
  • Perform real-time PCR for DNA amplification
  • Analyze and interpret PCR results
  • Execute protein extraction and ELISA testing

Qualifications Required:

  • Educational Background: BTS, DUT or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology
  • Experience: Open to beginners
  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, internet browser) on Windows, familiarity with laboratory best practices, and knowledge of English laboratory terminology is advantageous
  • Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, quick learner, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative spirit

Additional Information:

  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Saturday work every 4 weeks, with a compensatory day off during the week
  • 10 annual RTT days
  • Compensation: €1776 gross monthly salary plus quarterly performance bonuses
