Electronics Validation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Validation Specialist to join our team at Microchip Technology, Inc. in Nantes, France. As a key member of our Silicon evaluation Lab, you will work closely with Validation engineers to support the validation and characterization of 32-bit microcontrollers during night shifts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and laboratory equipment, with experience in using oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, power supplies, DVM, temperature conditioners, and other lab equipment. They will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the Validation lab and equipment, as well as handling boards and soldering components on PCB.
Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, tracking equipment, and shipping silicon to other validation sites. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work successfully in diverse product engineering teams and demonstrate a willingness to learn new things and ask questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support validation and characterization of 32-bit microcontrollers during night shifts
- Manage and maintain Validation lab and equipment
- Handle boards and soldering components on PCB
- Manage inventory and track equipment
- Ship silicon to other validation sites
Requirements:
- Diploma / ITI / B.E / B.Tech with 3-4 years' experience
- Proficient in using lab equipment
- Experience in handling boards and soldering components on PCB
- Ability to work successfully in diverse product engineering teams
- Flexible and willing to take on whatever tasks are required
