Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Purpose, Responsibilities, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

The Cloud Platform product team is tasked with designing and constructing Azure landing zones at a global enterprise scale, utilizing a multi-subscription Azure environment that prioritizes scale, security, governance, compliance, networking, and identity. The team provisions and manages Azure subscriptions, Azure PaaS and IaaS services, and evaluates new Azure services and other cloud technologies. Close collaboration with colleagues from Global Information Security and Compliance is essential to continually enhance the security posture for all compute workloads.

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Senior DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in advancing our global cloud platform. As a vital member of our truly global team, you will be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating closely with IT, Innovation, and DevOps teams to deliver outstanding and scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical product owner, formulating medium-to-long term strategies for product lines.
• Establish a Clear Product Vision and Strategy:
• Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy. You will align our global cloud platform with the company's overarching IT strategy, based on business objectives, providing an opportunity to significantly impact our future growth.
• Develop a Flexible Product Roadmap:
• We encourage creativity and adaptability in your role as you create and maintain a dynamic product roadmap. This will include both short-term and long-term initiatives, empowering you to guide our cloud platform's evolution towards greater success.
• Collaborate with leading cloud computing companies to create and deliver solutions that enable departments to deploy infrastructure and services effortlessly using code.
• Innovate with the latest products and tools available in the market to deliver complex architectures, including multi-cloud.
• Coordinate with technical staff and colleagues in non-technical roles to design solutions for use across Mazars that promote industry best practices.
• Advocate for Agile and Scrum methodologies:
• You will be one of our Agile and Scrum champions, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Embrace the power of Agile methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and teamwork.
• In this capacity, you will collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure & Platforms, the Enterprise Architect, and other Product Owners in Global IT.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A self-starter with moderate to extensive experience across various specializations,

• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the cloud services or SaaS sector.
• Proven success in developing and executing product strategies, including defining a product vision and roadmap.
• Familiarity with most products from cloud service providers, primarily Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of AWS/GCP is a definite advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders, including CIOs, Innovation teams, and product owners. Persuading others is your strength.
• Visionary mindset with the capability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing market trends and technological advancements to drive innovation within the cloud platform.
