Financial Accounting Expert

Körber Pharma is looking for a Financial Accounting Expert (f/m/d) to assist with finance-related functions, including group reporting and audits. This part-time position will involve collaboration with local management and the group finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish in-house accounting processes, transitioning from external financial service providers, ensuring thorough and independent management.
- Conduct meticulous reviews and account allocations in compliance with commercial and tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately.
- Regularly reconcile accounts and resolve outstanding items.
- Oversee settlements among affiliated Group companies.
- Assist in generating intercompany invoices.
- Manage and process travel expense reports efficiently.
- Execute payment transactions and oversee liquidity management.
- Implement effective receivables management strategies.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare documentation for annual tax returns in collaboration with tax advisors.
- Transfer local accounting data to German group reporting in accordance with HGB and prepare necessary reports.
- Liaise with local tax advisors and Group Tax on tax matters.
- Communicate with auditors and tax advisors, ensuring close collaboration with finance colleagues from the parent company.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training or degree in business administration.
- Extensive professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international corporate environment.
- Experience in controlling is a plus.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with accounting, tax, and travel expense legislation.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Organized, goal-oriented, and possess a high level of responsibility and cost awareness.
