Körber Pharma is in search of a Financial Accounting Expert (f/m/d) to assist with various finance-related functions, including group reporting and audit processes. This role involves collaboration with local management and the central finance team, and it is structured as a part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage in-house accounting operations, transitioning from external financial service providers to ensure comprehensive oversight.
- Conduct thorough reviews and account allocations in line with commercial and tax regulations to maintain compliance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Regularly reconcile accounts and resolve outstanding items efficiently.
- Oversee the reconciliation of transactions among affiliated Group companies.
- Assist in generating intercompany invoices as required.
- Manage, process, and reimburse travel expense claims diligently.
- Facilitate payment transactions and monitor liquidity effectively.
- Implement and oversee receivables management processes.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly and annual financial statements with precision.
- Compile documentation for annual tax returns, collaborating with tax advisors.
- Transfer local accounting data to the German group reporting in accordance with HGB, along with necessary report preparation.
- Liaise with local tax advisors and Group Tax to manage tax-related matters.
- Engage with auditors and tax advisors, ensuring close collaboration with finance colleagues from the parent company.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training or degree in business administration.
- Several years of experience in accounting, ideally within an international corporate environment.
- Experience in controlling is advantageous.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated work experience in an English-speaking context.
- Strong understanding of accounting, tax regulations, and travel expense laws.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Structured approach to processes and goal-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and cost awareness.
