Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Product Validation Engineer to join our team in Sophia Antipolis, France. As a Product Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating and debugging UWB, BLE, and MATTER solutions dedicated to Qorvo connectivity products.
Responsibilities- Review and define the product validation strategy
- Develop and execute the product validation plan
- Deliver end-to-end test plans and product KPIs
- Perform integration and testing of systems embedding Qorvo UWB and BLE modem chipsets
- Participate in plug fests and certification campaigns
- Work with partners on joint E2E validation benches
- Analyze bugs and raise tickets to hardware and software development teams
- Degree in engineering school or Master
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Expertise with Python programming, experience with C/C++ programming
- Technical understanding: embedded systems, real-time OS/firmware, network & RF software layers, embedded security and secure element
- Android experience will be a strong plus (Linux Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk)
- Knowledge of radio communication systems and standard bodies (3GPP, Wifi, BLE or other); knowledge of UWB is a plus
- System test and methodology
- Ability to use oscilloscope, logic analyzer and RF tester equipment
- Ability to work autonomously
- Team player
- Likes to work in complex projects involving multiple parties and work packages spread among several teams and stakeholders
- Work across different cultures
- A problem-solving approach and a strong desire to see the customer succeed
- Ability to travel to APAC and USA (up to 20% time)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Very fluent in English, spoken and written
