Position Summary
Located in the Qorvo office in Sophia Antipolis, France, the Connectivity Solutions Validation Engineer will play a crucial role in the system validation and troubleshooting of UWB, BLE, and MATTER solutions tailored for Qorvo's connectivity offerings. This position involves close collaboration with Qorvo's product definition and solution architecture teams, alongside software development and integration teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the product validation strategy.
- Create end-to-end test plans and establish product KPIs in partnership with Product Validation & Certification Strategy and Solution Architects.
- Collaborate with partners to set up joint end-to-end validation environments.
- Conduct integration and testing of systems incorporating Qorvo's UWB and BLE modem chipsets.
- Identify and categorize bugs, generating tickets for hardware and software development teams.
- Engage in plug fests and certification initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or a Master's in Electronic/Software/RF engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python programming languages.
- Technical knowledge of embedded systems, digital, network, and RF software layers.
- Experience in real-time firmware development and telecom algorithm implementation on MCU and real-time OS platforms.
- Familiarity with network MAC, security, and radio communication software layers (such as FiRa, NFC, Secure Elements) is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of system testing methodologies.
- Experience with Android systems is a significant plus (Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk).
- Ability to interpret hardware schematics and utilize oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and RF testing equipment.
- Capacity to work independently.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Enjoys engaging in complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and work packages across various teams.
- Ability to navigate different cultural environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer success.
- Willingness to travel to APAC and the USA (up to 20% of the time).
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
