Senior 3D Graphics Engineer

Omi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our 3D marketing technology. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product and helping us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain asset processing pipelines in C++ to integrate Omi assets with external platforms.
- Add features to our existing applications used by artists for processing assets and building scenes.
- Develop Python scripts to improve artists' workflow when importing, exporting, and visualizing assets in Blender.
- Improve our existing interactive webviews written in C++, OpenGL, and Emscripten.
- Debug and optimize desktop applications, backend rendering pipelines, and real-time webviews.
- Write and integrate tests on the code base.
- Work with front and backend teams to integrate new features into asset processing pipelines, rendering pipelines, and webviews.
- Contribute to our modular code base and write clean, readable, and well-documented code.
- Be comfortable building and integrating third-party code and libraries.
- Participate in code reviews for less experienced team members.
- BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, 3D Graphics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in 3D/computer graphics/game-related products.
- Required skills: OpenGL, C++, Linux, GLSL, Python, Blender, Image Processing Algorithm, Computation Geometry, Docker Experience, C++17, STL, Git.
- Experience with build systems, ideally QMake, CMake, and make.
- Nice to have: Qt, OpenCV, AR experiences, AR Web, Computer Vision experiences, Machine Learning experiences, Photogrammetry experiences, GPU underlying tech understanding.
- Nice to have: Knowledge in front-end development.
- Proven experience in the 3D, AR, or gaming field.
- Experience with 3D graphics software, especially Blender.
- Experience with mobile development.
- Experience with cloud computing services.
- Ability to integrate well with other teams and services.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
