At NES Fircroft Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial (Contracts) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organizing market consultations and negotiating fabrication contracts for offshore foundations and structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize market consultations and negotiate fabrication contracts for offshore foundations and structures
- Prepare tender deliverables and administer the call for tender
- Qualify suppliers and negotiate contractual terms and conditions
- Present outcomes to management and deliver memos/presentations and negotiated contracts
- Support the procurement strategy for OFW foundations and WTG packages
- Consolidate market intelligence for this procurement segment and supplier intelligence for foundations suppliers
- Run multidisciplinary workshops with structural engineers, legal experts, and project engineers
- Fair knowledge of energy-related challenges and industrial construction techniques
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and flexibility
- Graduated from an engineering or business school with a Bachelor's degree as minimum
- Experience in complex construction contracts negotiation
- Proficiency in Power BI is welcome
- English speaking is mandatory, French is a plus
- Analytical and synthesis abilities, rigor, and strong contractual background and skills
- Robust understanding of industrial projects in Oil & Gas or Renewables energies
- Strong knowledge in EPC/FIDIC contracts and contractual and commercial negotiations with industrial equipment manufacturers
- Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience in procurement/contracts engineering
