Job Overview

HM.CLAUSE is seeking a Cell Biology Laboratory Specialist on a fixed-term basis to join our Research and Development team at the Maninet site. This role involves collaboration with the Cell Biology Support laboratory team to assist in the generation of doubled haploids and the propagation of plants, contributing to the enhancement of our future vegetable varieties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of intricate tasks independently in both laboratory and greenhouse settings, adhering to established internal protocols.
• Ensure the production of quality, dependable, and reproducible results.
• Comply with laboratory best practices and internal company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, data collection, and preparation of monthly reports.
• Support laboratory operations by managing supplies and waste, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization of equipment.
• Assist in the development and documentation of new laboratory protocols.

Required Qualifications

A degree in Laboratory Studies with prior laboratory experience is essential. Familiarity with in vitro culture techniques (plants, microorganisms, etc.) is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team, adhere to protocols, and achieve set objectives. A strong sense of organization, thoroughness, and conscientiousness in documentation and traceability of work is required. The ability to work independently and identify opportunities for improvement is also necessary.
