Join Expleo's R&D Team as a Young PhD Researcher

Expleo, a global engineering, technology, and consulting company, is seeking a talented Young PhD Researcher to join its R&D team. As a key member of our SolutionsFactory, you will be responsible for driving innovation and advancing our expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a watchful eye on technological advancements, academic, and industrial state-of-the-art in MBSE for distributed autonomous systems.
  • Participate in defining objectives and milestones for your activities, in collaboration with Expleo's business managers, to align technical needs with the company's technical policy.
  • Contribute to R&D works on this theme (development, deployment, maintenance, etc.).
  • Scientifically lead and functionally manage the technical theme for projects conducted within the SolutionsFactory.
  • Interface with the academic world (teaching and research) in the field of specialization, to seek partnerships and/or solutions that can help advance our projects.
As a Project Pilot:
  • Find and develop application cases in transverse technical themes.
  • Build the roadmap for the development of this project in collaboration with R&D experts.
  • Manage multi-domain developments on this project.
  • Constitute a team of collaborators and lead them to work on this theme.

You will report to the R&D management on the technical and financial progress of your project.

The mission is located in Toulouse or Paris.

You are a holder of a PhD or about to defend your thesis, looking for your first CDI after obtaining your doctorate. Your qualities? You have an appetite for research and innovation; you want to evolve in an agile context and on cutting-edge technologies; you want to exercise management and operational pilot functions. Mastery of English to evolve in an international context. Your training: Holder of a Doctorate, you justify a successful experience in the field of system engineering or MBSE on mobile and/or autonomous robotics. You have knowledge/competences in: OS: Linux Ubuntu Languages: UML, SysUML, XML, AutoSar Tools: Enterprise Architect, Capella, Rhapsody
