Job Title: IT Applications Project Manager

About the Role:

Airbus is seeking an experienced IT Applications Project Manager to join our Aircraft Technical Data Department in Toulouse, France.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving IT solutions for the Customer Services department, focusing on Aircraft Technical Data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Technical data authoring process and production needs
  • Lead the corresponding IT Solutions Portfolio, aligning with Enterprise Architecture and Airbus IT strategy
  • Manage the applications portfolio, from day-to-day operations to incremental evolutions
  • Identify, structure, and prioritize needs for new and improved services with business stakeholders
  • Organize delivery activities with the supply chain, from detailed specifications to development
  • Define continuous ways of collaborating and bringing digital initiatives to the community
  • Coordinate and contribute to solutions implementation, monitoring daily applications issues and proposing corrections and improvements
  • Contribute to major milestones in line with IM Quality plan and the future of Technical Data within the Technical Data Modernization program

Requirements:

  • Strong Project Management experience from Waterfall to Agile methodologies
  • Risk-based approach and ability to manage escalation process
  • Creative and Innovative thinking
  • Rigorous in requirements capture and capabilities management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
  • Team Player and collaborative mind-set
  • Knowledge on Aircraft Technical Data/Documentation on Maintenance, Engineering will be well appreciated
  • Advanced level in French and advanced level in English

What We Offer:

Salary range based on the required profile: 60K€ to 70 K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
