Product Owner (I2M) - EIT Manufacturing

This position is based in any European office of EIT Manufacturing, with a mix of remote work and access to shared working space.

About the Position:

We are looking for a professional with experience in designing and/or delivering B2B services in the industrial manufacturing sector, and/or in designing and managing initiatives for the sales and delivery of such services. Our products are services that address the needs of the manufacturing ecosystem and stakeholders, being members of the EIT Manufacturing partnership or external organizations.

The Product Owner strategically oversees assigned services, in line with the organization's overall strategy. S/he will be in charge of consolidating the needs of customers and stakeholders and designing and developing new services and initiatives to effectively address such needs.

Missions and Key Accountabilities:

Contribute to building and maintaining the portfolio of assigned services according to customer needs and in line with the I2M strategy:
  • Support the design, test, and release of assigned B2B services.
  • Contribute to the identification, design, launch, and project management of pan-European tools and initiatives to support efficient and effective delivery of B2B services.
  • Identify training needs and drive the upskilling of delivery teams (in collaboration with the Knowledge Management team).
  • Monitor and continuously improve: evaluate the performance of assigned B2B services and launched initiatives, with the purpose of improving their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of goals and strategies of the Portfolio Management Team.

Qualifications:

A university degree or equivalent in Business or Engineering Sciences is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and/or delivering B2B services and related initiatives is also required. Knowledge of the European and international innovation ecosystems and stakeholders is desirable.

Skills and Expertise:

A strong team player with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and operational processes of an evolving organization in an international environment is essential. Inspirational entrepreneurship skills to deliver sales and marketing activities, build customer engagement, and increase brand awareness to generate growing commercial revenues are also required.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential. Excellent command of the English language is mandatory, and additional European languages are a plus.
