Job Overview

STRATEGIC ROLE AND OBJECTIVE:

This position reports directly to the Head of Modern Trade and encompasses a blend of sales strategy and oversight for the Trade Excellence Executive in the region. Essential for executing sales initiatives and conducting analysis for Modern Trade and Pharmacy accounts. Management of third-party merchandising agencies to ensure operational excellence in Modern Trade and Pharmacy. Support the Trade Excellence Executive in overseeing trade operations within Modern Trade and Pharmacy sectors. Assist the Head of Modern Trade in enhancing operational excellence through the development of strategic business plans.

Key Responsibilities


• Formulate and execute trade promotion strategies that are in line with business goals and budgetary constraints.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including trade marketing, regional operations, and merchandising agencies, to implement value-added programs and activities that achieve company objectives.

• Lead the monthly operational meetings with third-party merchandising agencies.

• Conduct market analysis, assess customer behaviors and preferences, and identify potential opportunities and risks.

• Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with key retailers to ensure timely and valuable insights for informed decision-making.

• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, such as distributors, retailers, and agencies, to communicate promotional details and negotiate terms to enhance service level performance.

• Address any issues that arise during the execution phase and provide necessary feedback and support to the sales team.

• Effectively manage trade expenditures to maximize growth opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics, or related fields in Business Administration or Accounting.
