Transforming Transportation with Sustainable Solutions

At Volvo Group, we're shaping the future of transportation with innovative solutions that prioritize efficiency, safety, and sustainability. As a Wiring Harness Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge electrical systems for our medium-duty products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex electrical wiring harness solutions for 24V and 600V systems
  • Ensure design correctness and completeness for all wiring harness releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, core teams, and colleagues in Bangalore
  • Secure input data availability and drive project timelines to meet deadlines
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for wiring harness designs
  • Work closely with plants and suppliers to introduce cost-effective and easy-to-install harnesses
  • Support current and new production design projects, analyzing and resolving issues related to harnesses
Requirements:
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or technical background
  • Experience in automotive electrical architectures and cables design
  • Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) for professional communication
  • Strong technical curiosity and excellent communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ready to collaborate with diverse cultures and teams
