The Team:
The role of Senior Value Consultant involves acting as a trusted advisor to clients, assisting them in reaching their strategic objectives and realizing substantial value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This position encompasses the entire value journey of our clients – from initial engagement to expansion, adoption, and renewal. Key responsibilities include converting client goals into value assessments or proof-of-value initiatives, crafting tailored Celonis business cases and demonstrations, facilitating value workshops, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful results and secure enduring partnerships.
The Role:
As a Senior Value Consultant , you will lead our efforts in driving data-centric business transformation alongside our clients. You will collaborate closely with the Celonis Sales Team and take full ownership of the complete value journey for our clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help them achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. In partnership with our associates and Celonis Services, you will foster measurable business impact across diverse processes and sectors, accelerating the adoption of our platform.
Responsibilities:
Identify & Frame Value:
- Uncover and translate clients' strategic priorities into impactful Celonis use cases.
- Develop demonstrations and business cases, utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices to attract new clients.
- Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and articulate the value opportunities and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.
Realize Value:
- Lead business value workshops and leverage Celonis to pinpoint and qualify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Identify improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives.
- Present outcomes and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
Scale Value:
- Oversee the complete customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing.
- Create a strategic expansion roadmap for clients, embedding Celonis Process Intelligence as a pivotal business transformation platform within their organization to drive adoption and growth.
- Provide insights to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and applications based on emerging use cases.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 12 years in relevant pre-sales, customer success, strategy consulting, or related fields is required.
Customer Value Focus: Experience in an analytical role aimed at demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing capacity within Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with a Business Software / SaaS Provider or Consultancy.
Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Strong knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience with RPA and/or BI Tools, and familiarity with building Dashboards, Applications, and Action Flows. Proficiency in Python and/or SQL is a plus.
Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven experience in identifying use cases for business process enhancement and implementing improvement measures, acting as a change agent and training users/process owners to realize value.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines, overseeing multiple projects across aligned accounts at various stages of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem when possible.
Executive Stakeholder Management: Proficient in preparing and communicating (value) roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both French and English are essential.
Business Domain Expertise: Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain, along with strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation).
Industry Expertise: Ideally, expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals) with the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
Educational Background: A degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field is preferred.
