The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their Development Team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, project management, and business development, with a proven track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Identification: Identify potential sites for new wind and solar projects, analyzing electrical network infrastructures to support project interconnection.
- Land Acquisition: Lead or assist with landowner negotiations, including site access, roadways, cables, and overhead lines.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including local communities, authorities, and elected officials.
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Manage the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) process and planning stages through to pre-construction handover.
- Financial Modelling: Conduct financial modelling and support the development of business cases for acquiring wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
- Team Collaboration: Support the Construction and Asset Management teams during the initial service phases.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Reporting: Provide regular management reports.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Master's degree in engineering, planning, or business administration, with a focus on renewable energy, environment, or project management.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience; experience in wind farm development is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in GIS/AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Personal Qualities: Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment; organized, open-minded, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership: Excellent communication, social skills, and leadership ability.
- Integrity: Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment.
- Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity, passion, and self-motivation.
- Travel: Full clean driving license, with regular travel required for fieldwork and occasional trips to Headquarters.
Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
