We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team at Accor. As an IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and operating the daily operations of our hotel's information technology and telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement technology-related processes and systems
* Maintain I.T. systems, manage software and hardware, and ensure 24-hour coverage for the hotel
* Analyze software and hardware problems to detect and correct deficiencies, malfunctions, and irregularities
* Ensure reliable data backup and emergency recovery operations are in place to maintain data security
* Assist with the selection and implementation of new system-related materials for proper integration and interoperability
* Manage contracts with I.T. vendors, consultants, service providers, and review maintenance contracts to ensure accuracy and project completion
* Report the status of I.T. and telecommunications operations and progress to the Director of Finance and Business Support
Requirements:
* Excellent organizational, follow-through, and communication skills
* Exceptional problem resolution abilities
* Strong positive team leadership and guest interaction skills
* Must be committed to teamwork and achieving team successes
* Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated
* Strong technical background, with specific requirements including detailed knowledge of operating systems, management and operations of PMSPABX/Voicemail/Call Accounting, HRIS, Sales & Catering, telecommunications knowledge and experience, including VOIP and videoconferencing, network architecture and systems design knowledge and experience
* 2-3 years of experience in an IT supervisory/management role in a fast-paced luxury hotel/conference environment
* Certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following
