Research Scientist for Hydrogen Fuel Cells

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France. As a research scientist, you will be part of an international team working on the development of new materials for hydrogen fuel cells and water electrolyzers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on the synthesis, characterization, and testing of advanced materials for electrochemical energy conversion
  • Collaborate with our international team of scientists to advance the state-of-the-art in hydrogen fuel cells and water electrolyzers
  • Develop and implement new experimental methods and techniques to improve the performance and stability of catalyst materials
  • Contribute to the writing of scientific papers and presentations for international conferences
Requirements:
  • PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a closely related field
  • Excellent technical skills and experience in electrochemistry, materials science, and experimental methods
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international team
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex scientific ideas effectively
