About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Commodity Leader to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the commodity management function and driving strategic procurement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supplier risks
  • Manage global supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement procurement processes and procedures
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics and key performance indicators
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in procurement, including category management
  • Experience working in multicultural teams and managing global supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
