About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Commis de Cuisine to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Megève, a luxurious Alpine resort located in the heart of the French Alps. As a Commis de Cuisine, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs in preparing and presenting exquisite dishes to our discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options
- Help to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety
- Receive and store ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that they are properly labeled and stored
- Participate in menu planning and preparation, contributing to the development of new dishes and menus
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and efficient food preparation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
