We are seeking a highly skilled Product Definition Analyst to join our team at Amadeus. As a Product Definition Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Order Management System.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop core order systems to manage orders data and life cycle, storage, and fulfillment.
- Integrate the order suite in airline UI and interact with other suites needed throughout the handling of our orders.
- Animate and coordinate a Product Definition Community in the Order Management System teams.
- Build good practices and ensure they are shared and followed.
- Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performance at a high level.
- Understand how main business drivers may impact on own area and assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity.
- Work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, and lead projects or contribute to broad cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrate excellence and establish standards on product definition activities, including specifications, solution design, and finding solutions to complex problems.
- Responsible for planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems.
- Support Pre-Sales teams and participate in Business Requirement Matrix (BRM) assessment.
- Support Solution Definition Managers on cross-area solution design for complex scenarios.
- Makes recommendations on how to revamp documentations and make them complete and accurate.
- Recommends process improvements for specs, docs, solution design, proactive maintenance, etc.
- Contributes actively to the PDA community or any other relevant community related to the current position.
- Coaches/mentors team members on product definition skills and drives the culture change towards professionalization.
- Provides guidance/direction/training and mentor less experienced product definition analysts, QA Engineers, and software development engineers.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Definition Analyst with a strong background in product definition and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Engineering degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a product definition analyst.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all stakeholders.
- Curious with a strong interest in the business logic behind the products developed by the team.
- Creative and proactive approach.
- A solutions-oriented professional, capable of handling complex issues, supporting and coordinating teams.
