Vestiaire Collective is a leading global online marketplace for desirable pre-loved fashion. As a General Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the global accounting organization at Vestiaire Collective.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the general accounting of our subsidiaries (12 subsidiaries), including month-end processes, accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
- Work closely with the Accounting & Consolidation Director to improve current processes and coordinate the General Accounting team.
- Oversee payroll accounting for France bookkeeping and review, as well as guide the general accounting team on ad-hoc transactions.
- Coordinate local reportings to submit to the French Administration and other stakeholders, including liasse, VAT, and Annual Accounts.
- Collaborate with local accounting experts for tax, VAT, and other declarations filling purposes.
- Liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit and support the general accounting team to obtain audit reports in time.
- Administer the Accounting tool (Netsuite) and manage intercompany transactions, including accounting and reconciliations.
- More than 7 years of experience, with at least 2 years as a manager, ideally in a medium-sized company in an international context.
- Bachelor's degree or above in accounting or a finance-related field.
- Excellent proficiency in general accounting (all cycles) and experience with Netsuite accounting tool is a plus.
- Fluent English language skills, with French as a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel and data-driven, analytical, results-oriented skills.
