About the Role:

As a Managing Director in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector at Selby Jennings, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our firm's TMT division. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and Executing TMT Transactions: You will lead end-to-end transaction processes, including deal origination, due diligence, negotiation, and closing, to deliver exceptional M&A and capital raising services to our clients.
  • Building and Maintaining Client Relationships: You will build and maintain strong client relationships within the TMT sector, leveraging your deep industry knowledge and expertise to provide strategic advice and insights.
  • Developing and Mentoring a High-Performing Team: You will develop and mentor a high-performing team of junior bankers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes professional development and growth.
  • Identifying New Business Opportunities: You will identify new business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to expand our firm's presence in the TMT market, collaborating with other senior executives to drive the overall growth strategy.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on the TMT sector.
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record of successfully originating and executing TMT transactions, with a strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the TMT market.
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
