Lead Superintendent for Piping Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all aspects of construction and commissioning within the piping discipline.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between SBM Engineering and external Contractors, Vendors, and Fabrication Yards.
- Supervise both SBM and Contractor Supervisors to guarantee they are well-acquainted with Project specifications.
- Evaluate Contractor performance and provide constructive feedback.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Ensure the safe execution of the discipline scope while monitoring field construction activities to meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Verify that the Contractor's Quality Control (QC) teams conduct sufficient inspections.
- Oversee and validate all testing activities within the piping discipline, including hydrostatic and nitrogen-helium leak tests.
- Collaborate closely with the Completions Team to participate in the final inspection and approval of Inspection and Test Records (ITRs), as well as assist in drafting and executing Operational Test Procedures (OTPs).
- Notify the Completions Team of any identified deficiencies in the work.
- Engage in the approval process for proposed solutions and monitor the completion of corrective actions to resolve non-conformances.
- Support the maintenance of the punch list and assist in verifying completed items.
- Help obtain detailed descriptions for any punch list items that are to be carried over within the piping discipline.
- Assist the site planner with progress assessments and collaborate with other disciplines in preparing for commissioning activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical College Diploma.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the offshore industry, specifically with FPSO/FSO Floating Production vessels.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
