About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Product Manager to join our team at Amadeus. As a Platform Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing one capability of the Platform, Data & File distribution product portfolio, creating, integrating, and promoting new offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement analysis, market analysis, and technical watch to identify opportunities and addressable business problems.
- Develop and implement product strategy and positioning, including product lifecycle management.
- Lead communications with internal customers, engineering, architecture support, customer success, sales, finance, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and requirements.
- Collaborate with domain experts or external consultants to consolidate a clear vision of the business environment, competition, partners, and market trends.
- Propose strategic direction to management to ensure one voice communication to consumers.
- Convey strategic direction to customers, prospective customers, and other stakeholders.
- Own and maintain portfolio business and decision logs.
- Run products at various stages of maturity, controlling the strategy for all maturities from introducing a new technology to product end of life and decommissioning strategy.
- Measure success using metrics and maintain and monitor product costing.
- Keep product backlog groomed with changing priorities from the business and internal customers, proactively communicating any significant changes to the backlog or roadmap to key stakeholder groups.
- Own the product roadmap, working with product owners, architecture, and engineering to specify high-level requirements, and be accountable for a balanced roadmap to ensure a scalable and optimized user experience, stable and performant technology product, that continually meets business needs, NFR's, and system enablers are considered and captured and cascaded to team backlogs.
- Coordinate and prioritize feature delivery to match with go-to-market activities as needed for new features across the organization, demonstrating a deep understanding of the problems being solved and what the market (mainly internal) needs.
About You:
We are looking for a strong communicator and analytical skills, results-oriented, energetic, and strong in a spirit of initiative. You should be able to operate in a fast-paced technology-driven environment, quickly establish strong relationships and credibility, and be fluent in English. A master's degree in engineering, computer science, or business is preferred.
