We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort, a part of the Accor group. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to existing furniture, doors, and windows, as well as fabricating new furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs to existing furniture, doors, and windows, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Furniture Fabrication: Fabricate new furniture to meet the needs of the resort.
- Lock Repair: Repair door locks to ensure secure access to guest areas.
- Furniture Polishing: Perform furniture polishing work to maintain the appearance of furniture.
- Decoration Assistance: Assist in decoration work for functions, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to cleanliness standards.
- Appearance and Uniforms: Ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniforms, particularly when working in guest areas.
- Flexibility: Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub-sections of the Engineering Department.
- Additional Duties: Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor and the Assistant Director of Engineer.
